Mike Benetello, (CA(SA)) is an experienced tax professional that has been advising clients in various capacities over the past 30 years. He is currently an executive at Bowmans (one of the leading South African and African law firms) where he advises clients of the firm on merger and acquisition transactions; restructure transactions; debt restructure transactions; mining taxation; international tax (including controlled foreign companies); dispute resolution; general corporate taxation; tax due diligence; and aspects of tax accounting. He also serves as the co-head of the tax practice group at Bowmans.
Mike was previously a partner at three of the four Big 4 audit firms and an executive at a South African law firm prior to joining Bowmans in 2021 and is a co-author of Juta’s Income Tax.
