Helena Strijdom is a seasoned attorney and accredited mediator with almost 30 years’ experience, widely respected for her clear, practical approach to complex legal matters.
Her primary expertise is in Labour Law, where she advises on employment contracts and workplace policies, chairs and represents parties in disciplinary, incapacity, and retrenchment processes, and appears before the CCMA, Bargaining Councils, the Labour Court, and the Labour Appeal Court. She also presents tailored labour law training to organisations across sectors.
In addition, Helena manages select civil litigation matters and is accredited as a mediator in both South Africa and the United Kingdom, with a strong focus on constructive dispute resolution.
She holds a BA (Hons) in International Politics, an LLB, and an LLM from the University of Pretoria, and brings valuable international experience from working alongside legal professionals in Ireland and Germany.
